I want to take a moment and say thank you to everyone for their passion for South Padre Island especially during this election cycle. Please remember that we are a Community. After June 29, we will still need to work together for the best interest of our Island and our community.
I remember in 2001 after the causeway collapsed it was a low point in which we lost many friends. In the days, weeks, months after, it was also a high point seeing our community work together to get us through it.
Please be respectful as we are in this together as each of us have chosen to call SPI home.
